RMA Automotive Acquires Technical Panels

On October 11^th RMA Automotive completed a transaction with Technical Panels Ltd. (TPSV). With this acquisition RMAA has boosted its modification expertise and design capabilities in Cash in Transit, Prisoner Transport and related vehicles (CIT’s). TPSV has a dynamic and competent team that has an excellent reputation and longstanding relationships with major accounts like G4S, Prosegur, Guardforce and other major accounts.

 

As the name suggests, Technical Panels began its business as a manufacturer of composite panels. Although they still manufacture panels to this day (mainly for their own consumption) they developed the expertise in using the panels for armoring purposes. TPSV started developing solutions for CIT vehicles and became a leading modifier of CIT vehicles. They continue to explore ways to expand their product offering and have recently found initial success with prisoner van modifications. The first deliveries have been well received and this business has the potential to grow considerably in the next few years. TPSV also has a service business supporting the 200+ vehicles that G4S operates in Malaysia and Indonesia. It has local operations that provide technical service on site to G4S. In Thailand, TPSV operates a GPS tracking business and just under 10 fleets have installed the tracking devices for which TPSV provides technical support.

TPSV is recognized as an industry leader in the CIT market and has sales activities across Southeast Asia, Australia, Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. With experience across many platforms including Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Iveco, and Tata, TPSV was also a preferred CIT modifier for Daimler.   RMA Automotive will continue the CIT modification across multiple brands.
