RMA Automotive Testing. No Compromises on Vehicle Safety or Integrity
The comprehensive capabilities of RMA Automotive include world-class testing with a code of practice of the highest industry standards. Testing takes place at the RMA Assembly and Distribution Center in Thailand.
The structural integrity of the vehicle must be tested for durability and safety. Engineers who have gained years of experience with modified automobiles scrutinize the vehicle structure. Beaming and torsional strengths must meet OEM standards and there must be no indication of overstressing of parts or joints. Test procedures include loading ‒ cargo payload, passenger payload and special payloads such as hoists and armored panels.
Vehicles and their modifications are tested repeatedly, using computer simulations as well as real-world testing, heuristic stress testing and impact analyses, so it is no surprise that every RMA vehicle produced is extraordinarily durable, kilometer after kilometer.
Engine testing: A sophisticated engine test stand houses several sensors (or transducers), data acquisition features and actuators to control the engine state. The sensors measure several physical variables which typically include: crankshaft torque and angular velocity, intake air and fuel consumption rates, air-fuel ratio for the intake mixture, plus environment pollutant concentrations in the exhaust gas.
The technologically advanced development team at RMA Assembly and Distribution Center pushes products far beyond the normal limits of even the harshest global environments to ensure a customer fleet’s long-term viability. Every RMA-produced vehicle carries the full warranty on both the vehicle and the conversion.
As one customer said, “Operators can enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing their vehicle upgrades have resulted from torturous real-world as well as high-tech testing regimes.”
As an ISO 9001:2000 compliant manufacturing company, RMA Automotive adheres to the strict quality, testing and documentation disciplines of this international organization.
