Since joining RMA Group in 2019 Pinaki has led the launch of Mahindra brand in Indonesia and the Ford fleet sales business while continuing to manage the existing automotive services business.  Pinaki has over three decades of experience that includes a stint of fifteen years with General Motors and was based in India, Thailand and China. Prior to joining RMA Group he was the Regional General Manager for Minor International for South Asia and the Indian Ocean.

RMA is appointed as Authorized Ford Distributor for Service and Genuine Parts in Indonesia and sets up a network of service centers to provide services, parts, emergency roadside assistance and full warranty repair for Ford vehicles.

RMA delivers the first orders of the Rantis Armored Assault Vehicle to the Indonesian Mobile Brigade Corps.

Vice President Automotive Strategy

Mark Tennant is a UK national who graduated with a BA (Hons) from Trinity College, Oxford. After a nine year career at Bentley Motors, working in both Singapore and the UK, holding positions such as Managing Director Asia Pacific, Director of Product Strategy, and Marketing Director, Mark joined RMA Group in February 2009 as Vice President of Automotive Sales & Marketing. In September 2013, Mark became CEO of Guava International, and is currently focused on general business development in RMA’s automotive sectors.

RMA grows rapidly to encompass four new divisions: Automotive, Power and Construction, Engineering and Trading & Logistics.

Global brands join RMA’s network of operations, including Ford and SDMO.

Operations are set up in Central Asia and further expansion follows to five other regions, including the USA.

The Automotive division adds Global Fleet Sales (GFS) to provide fleet solutions to developing markets and the humanitarian aid sector.

Oil Recycled

RMA introduced an easy-to-manage solution to remove used engine oil in the Afghan army. As part of the waste management system, the oil was filtered and recycled several times, saving money and the environment.

Reducing Emissions

Looking at a challenge from new angles can result in innovative solutions. RMA and its long-time business partner, Ford Motor Company, began using wheat straw-reinforced plastic rather than 100% traditional petroleum products to create plastic storage bins. This change is estimated to have reduced petroleum use by 20,000 pounds and CO₂ emissions by 30,000 pounds per year.
