December 10th, 2018 Vientiane – Following a remarkable string of award wins, Lao Land Rover took home another title and placed 3rd in the Asia Pacific Service Advisor of the Year Awards, held at the Park Hyatt, Siem Reap on December 9th.
The competition for the title took place in Cambodia from December 7th – 9th, where Lao Land Rover went up against an impressive lineup of 26 dealerships from 13 countries. A panel of automotive industry experts from Jaguar Land Rover judged each dealership in four key areas.
Participating in the competition and representing Lao Land Rover were Souksakhone Inthasome and Phetsamone Panasy, two top service advisors.
The competition began with an exam, followed by a case study challenge. Afterwards, teams did fieldwork around Park Hyatt to spot Customer First Principles, a set of principles introduced in late 2016 that make up the foundation of Jaguar Land Rover’s culture. Finally, individuals were assigned to a Jaguar Land Rover mentor and were tested on their service skills.
Lao Land Rover surpassed other dealerships in all four rounds. Robin Colgan, Position-Managing director, Asia Pacific Importers at Jaguar Land Rover handed over the third-place title during the awards ceremony.

This win came right after Lao Jaguar Land Rover received the APIO Retailer of the Year Award at the Global Retailer Event in Portugal.
