August 10th, 2020 Dubai – RMA Automotive Middle East & Africa, has opened its Dubai Modification Center, strategically located in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone on a 25,000m2 property.

The Dubai Modification Center provides customers in the Middle East and Africa easy access to RMA Special Vehicles which are professionally modified to global standards.
The facility provides hub services to automotive customers and OEM’s for PDI, maintenance, storage, and minor repairs. Its ideal location adjacent to the port minimizes vehicle movements.

RMA Automotive Global Manufacturing and Quality Director Peter Lawson stated, œRMA Automotive has been operating out of the UAE for many years delivering special vehicles, fleet vehicles and hub services to a range of customers and OEM’s in the Middle East and Africa. Hisham Issa, General Manager RMAA ME&A, oversees the Dubai Modification Center. œEven during the lockdowns and economic downturn as a result of Covid-19, the Dubai Modification Center has remained busy, fulfilling orders and developing new products. Not all of these are automotive products, explains Issa. œWhen we were approached to develop a Covid-19 disinfection tunnel, we used the opportunity and the skills of our engineers and technicians to design and develop the robust ProtecTunnel.
