May 21st, 2019 Phnom Penh – Dairy Queen is known for its soft serve with a signature curl on top. It’s a DQ trademark that dates back to when the company began serving customers in the 1940’s.
The curl is so iconic that Dairy Queen holds Top Curl competitions all across the globe, bringing together the best of the best when it comes to curl technique. One of the competition’s main objectives is to strengthen operation standards, product quality and service.
This year’s International Top Curl Competition will be held in Bali, Indonesia on July 10th. Employees from Dairy Queen branches across Cambodia have been preparing for the big day. The process of picking a winner to represent Dairy Queen Cambodia at the main event in Bali includes two rounds of competition.
The first round comprises of an in-store competition in each country on May 21st. From there, individuals with the best technique and ability to follow operating standards are brought to the final round, where one winner from DQ Cambodia is selected to proceed to the International Top Curl Competition.

Loeng Vannith from Dairy Queen Cambodia won the final round and will proceed to represent Dairy Queen Cambodia in Bali in July.
