FORD RETAIL LAUNCH IN INDONESIA

JAKARTA, Indonesia, 17 March 2022 – RMA Indonesia today announced its bold growth plans for the Ford vehicle distribution business with the launch of Ford vehicle retail sales in Indonesia.

RMA Indonesia through its wholly owned subsidiary PT Mitra Bisnis, has managed Ford’s aftersales operations and built close connections with Ford customers, community, and service dealers in Indonesia since 2016. Initially entering the Indonesian market almost fifteen years ago as a modifier of Ford vehicles to meet the extreme operational requirements of mining customers, RMA Indonesia became the authorized fleet distributor for Ford vehicles in 2020.

œOver the last six years, we have built close relationships with our more than 30,000 customers and dealers in Indonesia from managing Ford’s aftersales business. After receiving feedback from our loyal customers indicating their demand for more Ford vehicles, we have decided to expand our automotive presence and bring Ford’s world-class products and signature ownership experience to premium fleet and retail customers in Indonesia, said Pinaki Mukherjee, Country Manager, RMA Indonesia.

Both the Ford Ranger 1-ton pick-up and the Ford Everest seven-seater SUV have shown strong sales performance across 180 countries worldwide, and especially in Southeast Asia. From now onwards Ford Ranger and Ford Everest will be available to Indonesian customers in different derivatives including the performance model Ranger Raptor, Ranger Wildtrak and Everest Titanium.
