Inauguration of the Land Rover Club of Cambodia

December 3rd, 2018 Ratanakiri -  The Land Rover Club of Cambodia, in partnership with the Airavata Elephant Foundation, held its launch on December 2nd and 3rd 2018 in Ratanakiri Province, in the extreme north east of Cambodia. Through this partnership, Land Rover Cambodia aims to deliver on its long term strategic vision of embracing Khmer culture and tradition. Elephants have always played a significant role in traditions played out over centuries. Airavata has pledged to save and preserve the few remaining wild elephants in Ratanakiri province, ultimately to increase the wild elephant population and to offer abused domestic elephants a better life in their natural habitat.

Twelve founding Land Rover Club members and two honorary members participated in the launch event, which included off-road driving and a variety of activities interacting with the foundation’s elephants.

Land Rover Cambodia and Land Rover Club members both made donations to Airavata Foundation. Driven by their own passion and the ethos of œAbove and Beyond the Land Rover Club aims to create memorable and unique life-style experiences which are not confined to club member’s circle and will help drive a broader interest and affinity to the Land Rover brand. The ultimate goal is to become the most desired premium Car Club in Cambodia, providing adventure and unique experiential activities, embodying a synergy between partners and to promote safe driving on Cambodian roads
