About Mahindra Scorpio Pick-Up:

The Mahindra Scorpio Pick-up combines rugged underpinnings with a muscular engine to give customers a go-anywhere ability. The famed mHawk engine pumps out 140 HP of power and 320 Nm of torque with a flat torque curve, coupled to a 6-speed Manual Transmission. The electronic transfer case enables seamless switch on the fly between 2WD and 4WD – High and Low modes to tackle the toughest of terrains, ably aided by the Eaton mechanical locking differential. The mechanical locking differential detects minor slippage of any wheel and applies torque to the other wheel to compensate for this slip, thus ensuring maximum traction.

For even higher control and steeper slopes, the Scorpio Pickup comes with a 4Low mode – This provides a slow speed crawl with no driver intervention. This enables precise steering control and placement for navigating tough terrains. This 4WD architecture makes the Scorpio family of Pickups and SUVs the vehicle of choice for many rallies and expeditions across the globe.

The Scorpio Pick-Up is capable of carrying payloads of 1-1.2 Tons, with an impressive maximum towing capability of 2.5 Tons. The Pick-Up has tough exterior design with sporty bonnet scoop, imposing front grille and projector headlamps. The interior features are also attractive, ranging from trims shades of black and gray that give the impression of masculine and elegant, futuristic instrument cluster, Bluetooth, USB and AUX. These components make this vehicle a perfect blend of toughness and comfort.

The top-end variant of the Pick-Up includes features such as ESP, Hill Descent Control, TPMS, Cruise Control, Fully Automatic Temperature Control, Touchscreen Infotainment with Rear View Camera and Alloy Wheels. Safety features include ABS, EBD, dual airbags on the driver and passenger side, Anti Roll Technology and crash protection crumple zone and collapsible steering column, all as standard. Strengthening the commitment to safety and comfort, Mahindra also includes added headrests and 3-point lap sash seat belts for all seats along with two ISOFIX anchors in the rear seat with three top tether points for all Double Cab models. The exact feature content will depend on the variant – Mahindra will initiate sales with the S6 variant.

The Scorpio Pick-Up offers a rated fuel economy of 11.2 kmpl, thanks to the fuel efficient mHawk engine and a well-spaced 6 speed transmission. All Scorpio Pick-Ups come standard with a Micro Hybrid – Stop-Start system which helps save almost 5% fuel by intelligent engine management. All these technologies make the Pick-Up truly frugal and provide low cost of ownership to owners and businesses.

The product has been rigorously tested and validated across the globe. From the high altitude, cold terrains of South America to the hot, unforgiving deserts in the Middle East and the challenging terrain across Australia-New Zealand, our engineers have ensured that the Mahindra Pick-up can handle any conditions, having tested the product for over 500,000 kilometers. Further, Mahindra has delivered over 500,000 vehicles based on the Scorpio platform (SUV + Pick-Up) to our satisfied customers across the globe.
