RMA Myanmar Participates in Singapore’s Biggest Job Fair

July 15th, 2018 Singapore – RMA Myanmar, as part of their initiative to attract and retain Burmese talent in Myanmar’s growing market, participated in the Singapore Expo Job Fair organized by JobNet from July 14th – 15th at the Raffles City Convention Center.

The Singapore Expo Job fair is the biggest expo specifically focusing on Myanmar nationals who have been residing and working in the Lion City. Over 3,000 Myanmar nationals attended the expo, which is designed to showcase and interest them to return to new careers back home.

One of the biggest challenges employers in Myanmar face is securing high potential talent for various roles. RMA Myanmar is working to fill the gap through their Operation Repatriate program. With over 10,000 Burmese nationals living in Singapore, the JobNet fair was the perfect starting point.

œThere’s a lot of Myanmar nationals with solid industry and workplace experience who are ready to step into a leadership position. RMA Group is one of the country’s biggest employers, currently employing 861 staff. By reaching out through multiple avenues, such as the JobNet fair, we are attracting high talent back into the country, furthering development in Myanmar stated Phyu Thi Zin, Human Resources Business Partner, RMA Myanmar.

RMA Myanmar’s booth attracted some of the largest number of prospects out of the companies represented at the fair. On top of a video presentation showcasing ˜A day with RMA Myanmar’, the RMA Myanmar team handed out business-card sized brochures describing what the company stands for as well as USBs pre-loaded with the RMA Myanmar video.

RMA Myanmar will continue to source and attract talent back to Myanmar through various avenues as part of their Operation Repatriate program.
