Ford Myanmar Celebrates 243 Years of American Independence

June 26th, 2019 Yangon – Ford Myanmar proudly joined the U.S. Embassy in celebrating 243 years of American Independence in Yangon.

U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel kicked off the special event with an opening speech, welcoming over 200 American companies based in Myanmar that were invited plus honored guests. Ford Myanmar’s management team, including Chris Manley, Chief Operating Officer of RMA Group and Mike Pease, Business Strategy & External Relations of Capital Automotive, were present and showed their support for the event.

 

Embracing their Born in America spirit and upholding American heritage, Ford welcomed guests with a stunning display of the Built Ford Tough F-150.

 

As a true American heritage brand, Ford is proud to be celebrating Independence Day along with the U.S. Embassy and the American community living in Myanmar. We wanted to make it extra special by showcasing the Ford F-150, bringing back fond memories of family road trips and 4th of July celebrations back home, said Chris Manley, Chief Operating Officer of RMA Group

 

The event brought Ford Myanmar closer to the American community living in Myanmar.
