Texas Chicken Celebrates 3 Years in Laos

June 26th, 2019 Vientiane – Texas Chicken celebrated its 3rd Anniversary in Laos with an action-packed event to commemorate the milestone at the Thatluang branch. Texas Chicken began serving its beloved fried chicken in San Antonio, Texas in 1952. Since then, the quick-service restaurant has opened its doors in countries across the globe, including Laos, bringing its famous chicken to fans everywhere.

On event day, Over 200 customers streamed through the doors to join in on the fun and get a taste of their favorite Texas Chicken menu items.

œWe’re proud to be commemorating three incredible years of Texas Chicken in Laos. Our goal since day one has been to provide customers with a dining experience to remember and bring them top quality food and service, which they have grown to love. We look forward to delighting our customers for years to come, said Martin Darby, Managing Director of EFG Holdings and Vice President Food and Beverage Franchises.

The Texas Chicken team put together can’t-miss promotions for guests. 100 chicken sets were given away to the first 100 customers free of charge. On top of that, anyone participating in the fun-filled activities and games received 50% off their order. In between games and dining, the Texas Chicken mascot made rounds and entertained customers, especially the young ones.

Adding an extra layer of excitement to the day, Laos’ favorite celebrities were there to meet and greet fans, while the local press joined as well. The EFG management team, including Martin Darby, was there to celebrate with everyone.

Laos was introduced to Texas Chicken in 2017 and has quickly expanded to two stores following three successful years of operation in the country.
