July 27th, 2018 Attapeu – RMA Group’s Lao Ford City provided humanitarian assistance to flood victims caused by a dam collapse in the Attapeu province of Laos, delivering vital donations in Ford Rangers supplied by Lao Ford City.
As the number of people missing continues to climb, foreign countries and organizations are supporting Laos with relief efforts including rescue teams and supplies. The Lao Ford City team purchased medical supplies that were sent directly to collection shelters set up for the thousands of people affected by the floods. Clothing donated by RMA Laos and Lao Ford City employees were also sent to the shelters.
Lao Ford City provided multiple Ford Rangers to collect supplies from around Vientiane, which were delivered to shelters in Attapeu where hundreds of volunteers handed out donated items.
“On July 27th, Lao Ford City supplied multiple Ford Ranger pick ups full of essential supplies to be delivered to shelters in Attapeu. We stand by those affected by the floods and are ready to offer our full assistance to aid relief efforts,” said Chakkaphonh Malabandith, Sales and Operation Manager, RMA Group Laos Ford City.
Lao Ford City hopes the contributions will aid locals affected by the flooding and help to speed up the relief process.
