February 7th, 2018 Vientiane – Lao Ford City and Jaguar Land Rover today announced their sponsorship of the Lao Golf Challenge, the nation’s largest golf contest, to be held on March 10th. Lao Ford City has been a Lao Golf Challenge partner since its inception 6 years ago, and will be joined by Jaguar Land Rover this year as main sponsors.
The Lao Golf Challenge press conference, organized by Target Magazine from February 7th – 8th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, was joined by all sponsors and K&C Group, the contest organizers. It was announced that this year’s event is slated to gather an impressive 200 players and more.
Mr. Chakkaphonh Malabandith, Sales & Operations Manager at Lao Ford City, said at the conference, “We are truly honored to be a part of this event, which is becoming bigger every year.”
“I am honored to be a partner of this event, especially combined with the Visit Laos Year 2018 national campaign this year, both of which will make Laos more recognized in the tourism and sports sectors,” stated Ms. Metkham Souvannasane, Sales & Operations Manager at Lao Land Rover.
As main sponsors, Lao Ford City and Jaguar Land Rover will be offering exclusive gift sets including premium keyrings, polo shirts and umbrellas to participants during the roadshow beginning February 14th.
On event day, Lao Ford City is offering special grand prizes along with $300 to the winner of the longest drive and $1,200 to the hole-in-one winner. Visitors and participants will also have the chance to admire Ford vehicles on display, such as the iconic Ford Mustang and Ford Everest Titanium, in additional to a range of exciting Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.
