RMA Cambodia Unveils Highly-Anticipated New Ford Ranger

October 3rd, 2018 Phnom Penh – Ford Motor Company together with RMA Cambodia today launched the new Ranger – an even more capable pick-up with a freshened line-up that combines class-leading technology, safety and convenience features.

The new ˜Built Ford Tough’ Ranger builds on the capabilities and off-road credentials that help ensure it’s the perfect complement to, and enabler for, a wide range of customer’s work and lifestyles.

The new Ranger lineup in Cambodia consists of 2 different models, including the Wildtrak and XLT.

œWe know that Cambodian drivers want their pickups to have the toughness of a truck as well as the comfort and advanced features of a passenger vehicle, and we’re confident the new Ranger offers them this unmatched versatility, helping them achieve more, whether at work or with their family, said Mr. Ngorn Saing, CEO of RMA Cambodia.

Keeping safety at the forefront, Ford’s Pre-Collision Assist feature using Inter-Urban Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with Vehicle Detection and Pedestrian Detection is available on the new Ranger. Lane Keeping Aid and Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Collision Warning carry over to the new model as well.

In a segment first, the new Ranger’s easy-to-live-with features include Active Park Assist (APA). This enables semi-automatic parallel parking, making it easier to navigate busy streets around Cambodia. Keyless entry and push-button start add to the easy-to-live-with features.

The exterior sees styling changes that offer a more balanced look, such as a cleaner new grille and chiselled lower bumper. Both models boast LED daytime running lights and HID headlights for better visibility and vision.

The interior hosts an array of upgrades to help tackle the working week, the long-weekend road trip, or the off-road adventure. The spacious Ranger interior sports durable, tactile surface finishes ensuring a long lifespan with a quality touch and feel.

SYNC 3 continues to be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto including bluetooth, an 8.0-inch full colour touchscreen and reversing camera. Improved voice recognition and command also adds to the new Ranger’s impressive capabilities.
