Fun & Learning Day Event

September 15th, 2017 – RMA Automotive organized a fun and educational day for children from the Child Protection and Development Center (CPDC) and Drop-In Center.

The Child Protection and Development Program provides outreach work, a Drop-In Center, a children’s home, and preventative work to ensure that abandoned, orphaned and unwanted children continue to be protected.

The Drop-in Center is located in Pattaya City Center. It provides children with care, food, learning and a safe place to stay. The CPDC offers safe residence for children who have already been in the Drop-In Centre. The CPDC provides children with protection, education and prospects for the future.

Both centers are part of the Child Protection and Development Program supported by the HHN Foundation Thailand, a non-governmental organization which helps to promote sustainable human, social and economic development in Thailand.

The RMAA team at ADC organized the fun day outing for 75 children, aged between 6 and 14 years. They participated in fun activities that educated them about engineering and manufacturing, the concept of a safe working environment, and most importantly about making a contribution to society.

œWe gave the children a tour of our plant showing them the various operations from product development and parts fitment, to the test track, warehouse and educated them on topics such as safety guidance, how to work a forklift and how a warehouse operates , says Stanley Chan who ran the event.

œRMAA provided specially designed T-Shirts, caps, earplugs, socks and shoes and a delicious lunch. On top of this, RMA staff from ADC and at Bangkok HQ, collected THB20,000 which we donated to the CPDC.
