December 9th, 2018 Phnom Penh, Cambodia – RMA Cambodia kicked off Ford Adventure 2018 on December 6th, bringing together over 500 drivers in a caravan of Built Ford Tough vehicles for the ultimate four-day road trip from Koh Kong, Cambodia to Trat and ending in Chanthaburi, Thailand.
RMA Group, an emerging markets specialist with operations across Asia and Africa and a long-standing partner of Ford Motor Company, organizes the Ford Adventure trip annually, taking Ford fans to different destinations around Cambodia and Southeast Asia.
This year’s Ford Adventure drew in more participants than ever before. The convoy of Ford vehicles tackled everything from mountainous terrain to sandy plateaus, driving over 500km kilometers in four days. The trip included three nights of camping, giving drivers the opportunity to soak up mountainous views in Koh Kong, Cambodia and the beautiful coast of Trat, Thailand.
“We’re ecstatic to be celebrating 12 years of Ford Adventure with Ford fans across Southeast Asia,” said Lor Vuthy, National Sales Manager of Ford Cambodia. “Each year we grow bigger, and this year we saw over a 60% increase in cars compared to last year. Ford Adventure gives participants the chance to experience the thrill of driving while taking in the scenery and local culture.”
“We aim to make Ford Adventure more than a trip by holding activities that contribute to the local communities we pass through. It’s also the perfect way for the RMA Cambodia team to connect and build stronger relationships with Ford customers,” he added.
